Blockchain Verified

Tamper-Proof Compliance Records
Anchored on Base L2

Every day, HIPAA Agent computes a SHA-256 root hash of all compliance events and anchors it on Base (Ethereum L2 by Coinbase). Your records are independently verifiable, permanently stored, and impossible to tamper with.

How It Works

01

Scan & Log

Every compliance action — scan, policy, training, BAA — is logged with a SHA-256 hash chain. Each entry’s hash includes the previous entry’s hash, creating a tamper-evident chain.

02

Daily Root Hash

At 2:00 AM UTC, all audit event hashes from the past 24 hours are concatenated and hashed into a single SHA-256 root hash.

03

Anchor on Base

The root hash is written as transaction data on Base (Ethereum L2 by Coinbase). Anyone can verify the hash on Basescan — no trust required.

IMMUTABLE ON-CHAIN

Why It Matters

Blockchain anchoring turns compliance assertions into independently verifiable proof.

OCR Audit Ready

When OCR audits your compliance records, you can prove they haven’t been modified since the date they were created. The blockchain anchor is independent, external, and permanent.

Independent Verification

Any auditor, regulator, or enterprise buyer can verify your compliance records by checking the transaction on Basescan. No account, no API key, no trust required.

No Trust Required

Traditional compliance software asks you to trust their database. HIPAA Agent says: don’t trust us — verify on the blockchain yourself.
